A few tips to help you hear from more of your community!
If you’ve sent a few Pulse Checks this year, you might have noticed that your first Pulse Check has more replies than your most recent Pulse Check. That isn’t atypical. It is common for the first Pulse Check to have more comments and questions.
3 Ways to Keep Your Community Engaged
1. The Possip Bonus Question 💬
Bonus Questions (BQs) engage your community in a personal or time-sensitive way. Bonus Questions give you the chance to ask your families, staff, or students specific questions about topics relevant to your community. Adding 2-4 BQs over the course of the year can increase your response rate by 20%. Close-ended Bonus Questions can be particularly helpful - the type where respondents pick their answer from a list you suggest! Here's some suggestions for you.
2. Promote 🏷️
We all know habits take time to build. Reminding your community of Pulse Checks via social media and newsletters encourages them to participate routinely. Some partners like to include a "Possip Corner" - which serves as a routine reminder ahead of the Pulse Check. We've provided promotional files and materials for you to help you get started!
3. Closing the Feedback Loop 📚
Whether you have Possip 360 scripts, or like to summarize Pulse Check results in another way, it’s important to let your community know their voices are heard. Following the Pulse Check, you can include a summary of what you heard and action steps you plan to take.
